With an election in just three weeks, it is now more important than ever to let your elected MPs and prospective elected MPs know that you want live animal exports to end. Various animal welfare organisations are holding peaceful rallies in support of ending live animal exports, and in particular, appealing against the weakening of the current northern summer moratorium on the sheep trade by the Federal government, across Australia this weekend. While COVID has hampered some of our more visible activities during the past year, in the background, we have been busier than ever. As pledged at last year’s AGM, we have developed a new brand that better reflects who we are and what we want to achieve.
